Soap Dispenser For Your Bathroom

Soap Dispenser

Picking the right soap dispenser depends on two fold: design and functionality. By saying “design”, one is referring to the way the soap dispenser looks. “Functionality” refers to the way a soap dispenser works. In this article, I will explain the different designs and functionality of all possible soap dispensers, making it easy for you to pick the right soap dispenser for your bathroom.

Contemporary soap dispensers come in many different designs. Soap dispensers can be made out of porcelain, glass, brass,  wood, plastic, or a combination of aforementioned finishes. Picking the material for your soap dispenser all depends on your style and whether there is something you would like to match. For example, wenge colored wood soap dispensers would be a good choice for a wenge colored vanity. A chrome-plated brass soap dispenser would nicely match a chrome faucet. Picking the right material is all about whether you are trying to match your vanity, faucet or your sink.

Soap dispensers come in many different shapes –cylindrical, round, rectangular, and many others. Many shoppers prefer bigger soap dispensers, allowing them to place more anti-bacterial soap inside. Soap dispensers can either be wall mounted (installed on the wall) or free standing. Public restaurants prefer wall mounted soap dispensers while many homes feature freestanding soap dispensers.

Needless to say, different types of soap dispensers function differently. The most standard type of soap dispenser dispenses soap when you push down on the “pump” as the liquid comes out. These are most basic form of soap dispensers. Another type of soap dispenser is the foaming soap dispenser. These operated the same way as the basic soap dispenser, however they dispense foam instead of liquid. The last type of soap dispenser is electronic. These type of soap dispensers work function with the use of sensors. When the sensor senses a person’s hand near, the soap is dispensed. These types of soap dispensers are used in restaurants and airports for cleanliness purposes. Electronic dispensers are limited in design in comparison to your basic soap dispenser.
